After not much deliberation or time spent (whatever), Jon and I think we're down to two baby names:
William and Jared
Just for fun, we thought we'd open the blog up to a vote to see which is the most popular with the fam. We don't yet have a favorite between the two, so now's the time to influence us. We might even be influenced, although Jon's pretty stubborn. I, however, am the soul of humility and malleability!
Note: If you can't say anything nice...
P.S. Feel free to post any suggestions you have for middle names as well. We haven't made it that far yet.

1. Totally didn't know you had a blog. Is it set to private usually?
2. I just got released as a ward missionary (and ward organist) but that was only because I moved out of the ward. Actually, I'm assuming they released me since I wasn't there for it.
3. I'm partial to both your boy names. :) Jared because... well, that's probably a little obvious (although Jared does not want a child named after him).
4. If we had had a boy, his name would have been William David. Actually, whenever we do have a boy, that is going to be his name.
William definitely. If you go with Jared, all I will hear is "the brother of Jared" in my head FOREVER when I think of your child. Caveat: But then, if you do choose do go with that, I'll still like you.
Jason and I both like the name Jared better. So there's two votes for that one.
As for a middle name to go with it... let me think about that one! Jason jokingly said the middle name should be Jason, but I just don't think that would flow too well... :) Since Jared ends with a harder consonant, so maybe the middle name should start with a vowel, like Adam or Ethan? I don't know.
My Aunt Danna Q. votes for Jared.
Jared for sure- I would like the name William, but I already know someone with that name. Jared is such a great name!
I'm siding with April on this one! Go with William...Will for short, of course! Maybe for a middle name you could use Paul. I like how that sounds. I also know someone that would be flattered with you using Adam as a middle name!
I was going to suggest David for a middle name with William as well. I think William is perfect. I like the nickname Will too because it can be sweet for Mommy and manly for Daddy.
Mom says she likes Will. But I know the pull with naming him after your good friend Jared. Either way, we'll be fine. Just want him to be healthy.
Well, the votes are coming in. Since I am sitting in downtown Chicago tonight, I am reminded of the Chicago political axiom, "Vote early and vote often." I like both names...but I may come back and vote again.
Jon's brother Ben says, "Go William, a good and strong English name."
My mom and I agree that 'Billy Boizelle' has quite the ring to it, but why not use both names. It sounds better William Jared rather than Jared William. Then he can still go by Billy. And if it's a girl, my vote is still Billy.
Um, we like both names, probably William a little more, but that's because we've considered using it. So maybe we should vote for Jared... Just kidding. Use whatever name you like best. There's no guarantee that we'll ever have a boy. We favor using Google for middle names. With Morgan we just typed in one-syllable girl names and picked Jane. That or family names. Good luck - hopefully you have an easier time of it than we did!
I, being the supreme and sole male in the home, hereby make my declaration which will stand regardless of what ya'll decide. His name shall be called MARKO!

Well, I think it's okay for 2nd cousins to have the same name. I'm trying to talk Michael into having a William if it's a boy, but he has his own favorites that are perfectly doable too. I wouldn't call him Billy or Willy though. Others would, but I'd always call him William.
I just have to say...Mitch, you are too much!
And again, vote for Jared because I don't like the shortened versions of William. Or Marko-that works too! :)

Hmmmm... that's a really tough choice! First thought was that I liked Jared a little bit more BUT after thinking about it, I think I am leaning towards William.
If you name him Jared, you need a really strong middle name... like, Michael, Matthew, Ashton, Sawyer, Isaac, Alexander.. those are some possibilities that I can think of the top of my head. :)
I love the name William. It is a great strong English name... and I've never met a William that I didn't like! :) Middle names ideas: Edward, Nicholas, Michael, Thomas, Layne, Isaiah, Scott, Jared (lol) Jacob, Alexander.
